BACKSTORY
Mono is an angel, more specifically a guardian angel. He was sent to earth for one reason and one reason only : to protect a human of his choice’s life. This entailed in guiding them to make life choices and that the human in question was happy with no troubles coming their way.The angel had started his life among humans, trying his best to fit in with the people who surrounded him, Mono found it easier to keep his wings hidden inside his back and could make them appear whenever he liked to, though ; he preferred to release them when he was alone.Years passed and the angel couldn't choose one specific human to protect, he then opted to helping his friends and loved ones instead of choosing only one protege.This was because Mono, himself always believed that he was not gifted with any specific powers, unlike other angels and supernatural beings he had come across in his lifetime. Little did the angel know that his power was to make people around him happy, or at least making them smile and forget about their problems temporarily while he was around them.But Mono not choosing a human as a protege had consequences on not only himself but his behaviour too.His angelic nature enticing him to protect one person only and not doing so lead to a split in his personality.His usual gentle and bubbly personality would sometimes, without any reason, shift into a darker alter ego of himself. Some would say that the angel had a fallen angel perception about himself which was mostly noticeable by his liking in teasing people in a friendly or seducing way.Unaware of his alter ego’s existence, Mono continues to live his life as he intended to do so, which is keeping those around him happy and as for his alter ego, if close enough to the angel, it might just be recognizable.
